BIRTH DOULA SERVICES

A birth doula is an educated support person for you during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum who provides informational, emotional, physical, and spiritual support to empower you beyond your labor and birth based on your needs. As your doula I work to compliment your chosen birth team and do not  replace the roles of partners, mothers, sisters, or friends.  I offer information and give continuous labor support throughout the entire birth. By providing love and support I aim to enhance a family's confidence and lessen anxiety. I do NOT provide clinical care or speak for you, but see my role as one of creating space for laboring women and couples to have a satisfying birth experience. I am a DONA certified birth doula. You can learn more about doulas at: www.dona.org

I believe that every woman deserves a doula. I charge $600 for birth doula services.

Service includes:

*at least one prenatal visit (in addition to our consultation)

*24/7 on-call beginning two weeks prior to your due date, until baby arrives

*access to my library of books and DVDs

*continuous support during labor and delivery

*one postpartum visit, about a week after baby's birthday

*photography of your labor and delivery if you wish, and these images given to you on a CD at no extra charge, with an on-line gallery if you want to share these images with loved ones
